The Silver Brooch Giveaway Rules & Regulations

At The Silver Brooch, we love giving back to our customers and followers, and we regularly run giveaways on Facebook and Instagram.

To ensure our giveaways are fair and transparent, please read the following rules and regulations.

1. How Winners Are Selected

All winners are selected at random using Fatewheel or a similar independent random selection programme.

2. No Cost to the Winner

The winner will never be asked to contribute towards the cost of the prize or postage.

3. Entry Requirements

Each giveaway will clearly state its individual entry requirements. These may include:

• Liking our page
• Following The Silver Brooch
• Sharing the giveaway with friends
• Any other requirements specifically stated in the giveaway post

Entries that do not meet the stated requirements may be deemed invalid and excluded from the prize draw.

• Accounts created solely for giveaways or competitions will be disqualified.
• Winner’s account must be a public, active personal or business profile (no empty or 'comp-only' grids).

4. Claiming the Prize

Winners must respond to our DM within 24 hours and verify their identity, or a runner-up will be selected.

The winner must claim their prize within three months of being notified.

We reserve the right to withdraw the prize if:

• The prize is not claimed within three months.
• The winner attempts to claim a prize other than, or of greater value than, the prize originally offered.
• The winner behaves inappropriately, abusively or disrespectfully during the competition, in comments relating to the giveaway, or during the prize-claiming process.

5. Respectful Behaviour

We have a zero-tolerance policy towards abusive, threatening or inappropriate behaviour towards The Silver Brooch, our staff or other participants.

This applies to emails, social media comments, messages and any other online communication relating to our giveaways.

We reserve the right to withdraw a prize where a winner engages in such behaviour.

6. Independence from Facebook & Instagram

Our giveaways are not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook or Instagram.

The Silver Brooch is solely responsible for the administration of its giveaways and the awarding of prizes.

7. Transparency & Fairness

We are committed to conducting our giveaways fairly and transparently.

Where reasonably requested, winners must be willing to provide reasonable confirmation or cooperate with an appropriate enquiry to verify the legitimacy and fairness of the giveaway and prize selection process.

8. Family Members

Giveaways are not open to immediate family members of employees of The Silver Brooch.

9. Winners Outside the UK

If the winner is outside of the UK we reserve the right to alter the prize to suit shipping and custom rule to reduce the weight of the item. With the current Giveaway we may remove the jewellery box itself but would still supply the jewellery without any alteration.

10. Our Commitment

We want our giveaways to be enjoyable, fair and transparent for everyone who takes part.

By entering a giveaway, you agree to abide by these rules and any additional terms specifically stated in the individual giveaway post.
